ACCESS TO UNIVERSITY (ARTS)

If you are interested in doing the Access Test for Arts at the University, you need knowledges on subjects as painting, drawing or sculpture.
In this workshop we will carry out a coherent training with the Test requirements. For this, through the course you will learn:

Basic concepts

• Introduction to the course and the content of the studies in Barcelona.
• Artistic techniques and expressive possibilities.
• Study of art in history.
• Composition and simplification. The theme, elements of interest, artistic narration.
• Interrelation of disciplines.
• Personal position according to critical thinking.
• Project.

Drawing

• Representation of reality.
• Principal techniques.
• Drawing as a projective tool and as representation of an idea.

Painting

• Greys scale.
• Colour.
• Light and contrast.
• Principal techniques.

Sculpture

• Tri-dimensionality
• Forms: closed, open, hollow, convex, geometric, organic.
• Sculpture in relief or volume.
• Principal techniques.
• Preparation of the Project for the exam.
